First I will post the song...I have got a fascination for it now...so please bear with me...I am posting up front because its easier to turn off!
Got the movie "The Doors" from Santhosh today along with Apu trilogy (Satyajit Ray...I have been searching for this one!) and Vanaprastham...
The Doors is a biopic of the eponyomous and legendary band in late 60's...especially the story deals with the lead man Jim Morrison...
SEX...DRUGS...and ROCK N ROLL...nirvana for me!

    Ahhhh... "Light My Fire".
    The Doors version is cool, but the UB40 version is terrific! The lead vocalists unique, nasal voice crooning those lines plus that reggae beat.... joy!

    Italian Food.... these guys gave the world some of its best dishes! Pizza, Ravioli, Lasagna, Frappuchino, Pies, Pasta etc. Yummmmm!
    And they have gall to berate the "Italian Hand" in Indian politics! Hypocrites! :P

Sigh!

Why is the beer bottle so slender? I think its a deconstruction of the fact that you get a pot belly after a few beers over a period of time. Ah well, I should be taking a few sit ups! Ciao. Ancient Thrills

Ancient civilization. Dig. Gun. Artifact. Conspiracy. Esoterica. Professor. Prospective authors please note, you will get atleast one buyer for your book if these key words are there on your book cover. It would also help if you get someone to give comments like "Stunning!", "Tour De Force!" etc. I am such a sucker! My book collection has grown because of a few books I bought specifically due to these keywords. A small list which could well be incomplete: The Temple by Mathew Reilly Cover of Temple Peru. Inca. Idol. Guns. Pretty decent. Good read on a lonely day. Seven Ancient Wonders by Mathew Reilly Decent book. Lots of traps and thrills. Moments like the discovery of the Hanging Gardens are really good. Six Sacred Stones by Mathew Reilly Sequel to the above book. Same old stuff. The ending is a cliff hanger though. The Last Testament by Sam Bourne Cover of The Last Testament Palestine. Israel. Biblical artifact. Middle east solution. Peace talks. Okay okay book. ...
